About Me

Hey, I’m Antony Njoroge and welcome to East Africa Travel Tips. The beauty of my country Kenya astounds me. From the wildlife to the breathtaking landscapes, Kenya and the greater East Africa is one of the most beautiful places in the world.

I started East Africa Travel Tips because I really like helping people and find it fun interacting with people from different parts of the world. I have a few foreign friends who have told me that they find my local advice helpful

This is what gave me the crazy idea of starting a blog providing information that will help tourists and visitors to East Africa to optimize their African Adventure and make it an unforgettable experience

Also, this website is a great excuse for me to travel more around this region and experience more of its beauty. I have visited most of the National Parks in Kenya and but that was a while ago and I have not gotten to see much of Tanzania Uganda or Rwanda.

Having lived in East Africa my whole life, I share my personal experiences and knowledge with a desire to help you optimize your East African Safari and leave you with unforgettable memories of the time you spent here.

The National Parks I’ve Been To

I have been to the following Parks in Kenya:

  1. Masai Mara National reserve
  2. Amboseli National Park
  3. Lake Nakuru National Park
  4. Kilimambogo National Park
  5. Hell’s Gate National Park
  6. Nairobi National Park’s Animal Orphanage
About Why I Started East Africa Travel Tips & My Visit to Lake Nakuru Natioanl Park

I would not consider myself a travel expert but more like a travel enthusiast that lives in Kenya. All the content on this blog comes from my own personal experience and research. I try my best to research each topic thoroughly and provide the most accurate information but I would also encourage you to verify the information before acting on it.

I’m planning on visiting more national parks in Kenya and some of the more popular ones in Tanzania soon. I will be doing reviews of these places and hotels there to help you make a good decision about whether they are worth visiting.
